Content and Safety Policies
How kisslater.com keeps its content legal and fictional, checks the age of its visitors, handles reports and requests from authorities, and deals with payment fraud.
These policies apply to kisslater.com. The service is run by the operator named in the Terms. Where this page says "we", it means that operator.
1. Content Moderation Policy
All characters in the service are fictional adults. There are no real performers, models or creators: nobody is filmed or photographed for the service. Every persona photo is generated by us with AI tools and is reviewed by a person before it is published. Voice notes are synthesized speech of the persona's reply, generated automatically under the same rules as the written replies. Users cannot generate or edit images, and nothing a user sends is published or shown to other users.
Replies are written by an AI language model that works under fixed rules. These rules set hard limits that apply even when the user insists or says it is only a game. In general terms they forbid:
- minors, school and childlike themes, and anything that makes a character look like a minor,
- family relationships and incest between characters,
- animals,
- sex with someone who is asleep, unconscious or drugged, and any scene that is not consensual,
- real injury and violence, feces and vomit,
- drugs,
- real people, including celebrities.
When a user asks for such a scene, the persona refuses and does not write it, not even in part. Requests that touch these limits are also detected automatically, and the persona is reminded of the limit for that reply.
What users may and may not do is set out in the Terms (sections 7, 7a and 8). Illegal content, content about real identifiable people and content that depicts minors in an erotic or sexual context are prohibited.
We act on reports (see section 5). A report is reviewed by a person. Content that breaks the law or the Terms is removed without delay, and the account involved can be restricted or blocked.
Automatic rules cannot catch everything, so we do not rely on them alone: every report is reviewed, and the rules are updated when we find a gap.
2. ID&V and Consent Procedures
Because no real person appears in the content we publish, there are no performers or creators whose identity or consent has to be verified. All personas are fictional, and any resemblance to a real person is coincidental. We do not use the likeness of real people, and the Terms forbid requesting or sending sexual content about a real, identifiable person.
Users can send their own photos and voice messages in a conversation (Terms, section 7a). The rules are:
- the user may send only content they have the right to share,
- a photo showing a person under 18 is prohibited in any context,
- a photo of another person without their consent is prohibited, and so is any intimate or sexual image of anyone other than the user,
- such content is used only so that the persona can read it and reply in that conversation. It is not published, not shown to other users, not edited, not used to create new images and not used to train AI models,
- it is stored with the conversation and deleted together with it or with the account, and the user can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
A person who believes that content in the service shows them or uses their likeness can ask for its removal by e-mail (section 5). We remove it and do not use it again.
We do not collect identity documents from users.
3. Age Verification Process
The service is for adults aged 18 or over. We want to be clear about how this is checked, so here is the process as it works today. There is no document-based ID verification of users.
- Age gate. Before any content is available, each visitor must confirm that they are at least 18. The confirmation is remembered in a cookie for 30 days. The chat cannot be opened without it.
- Self-declaration. Creating an account requires a valid e-mail address and acceptance of the Terms, which state that the service is only for people aged 18 or over.
- Automatic detection. When a user says in a message, or in a voice note, that they are under 18, the check runs before anything else happens with the message. The persona does not answer it, the conversation is closed for good, and chat access is closed for that account or, for a visitor without an account, for that browser. A new account created from a closed guest browser is closed as well.
- The personas themselves refuse any scene with a minor (section 1).
- Blocking and reports. Anyone can report a suspected minor by e-mail (section 5). A user who is found to be under 18 loses access to the chat. A person who was closed by mistake can write to us and we review the case.
- Regions. Where local law requires an age check that we do not offer, we do not offer the service. At present kisslater.com is closed to visitors from the United Kingdom and shows them a short notice instead of any content.
- We do not collect or process personal data of people under 18 on purpose. If we find that data concerns a minor, it is deleted without delay, except for what we must keep as evidence under section 5.
4. Anti-Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
We have zero tolerance for slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and the exploitation of any person.
No real people produce the content of the service. The characters, photos and voice notes are created with software and AI tools by the operator, so there are no performers, models or creators who could be exploited. The suppliers we use are software and AI vendors, hosting and e-mail providers and payment providers. We choose established providers and do not knowingly work with any supplier involved in forced labour, human trafficking or exploitation.
If we learn of such a link in our business or our supply chain, we end the relationship and report it to the competent authorities. Anyone who has a concern can write to support@kisslater.com.
5. CSAM, Non-Consensual or Illegal Content Procedures
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), for any sexual content that involves or appears to involve a minor, for non-consensual content and for any other illegal content. The service is built so that this content is not produced: all characters are fictional adults, users cannot generate or publish images, and the persona rules forbid minors and non-consensual scenes (section 1).
How to report. Anyone, including a person without an account, can report content by e-mail to support@kisslater.com with the subject "Content report" and a link or a description of the content. We confirm receipt, review every report and reply within 7 days. Suspected CSAM or any sign of a minor is handled at once and does not wait for that deadline.
What we do when we find or are told of such content:
- the content is removed from the service without delay,
- the account or, for a visitor without an account, the browser involved is blocked,
- the relevant records are kept as evidence and are not deleted, with access limited to what is needed,
- the case is reported to the competent authority: the national police or prosecutor, and a hotline that belongs to the INHOPE network (for example Dyżurnet.pl in Poland). Where the material is connected to the United States, the report also goes to the NCMEC CyberTipline,
- we cooperate with the authorities and do not tell the person concerned if the law or the authority forbids it.
A person who finds that content shows them or their likeness without consent can ask for it to be removed in the same way, and we remove it.
A user whose content was removed or whose account was blocked can appeal by e-mail. We review the appeal and reply within 14 days. An appeal does not restore content that is illegal.
6. Contacting Law Enforcement Guidelines
The operator is established in Poland. We answer valid legal requests from competent authorities under Polish and European Union law.
- Send a request to support@kisslater.com with the subject "Law enforcement request". Include the name of the authority, a case reference, the legal basis, the data wanted and a contact person with an official address or telephone number. We check that the request is genuine before we answer.
- We give only the data that the request lawfully covers. Data about payments is held by the payment provider, which has to be asked separately.
- On a request from an authority we can preserve the relevant data for a reasonable time while the formal order is prepared.
- Emergencies. If a life is at risk, write to the same address with the subject "Law enforcement request: emergency". We disclose what is needed to deal with the danger and review the request afterwards.
- Requests from outside Poland and the European Union are answered when they come through the proper legal channels or are binding on us.
- Where the law allows, we tell the user about a request for their data. We do not do so when the law or the authority forbids it.
7. Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Fraud and Chargebacks
- Payments are handled by an independent payment provider that is shown at checkout. The provider acts as the payment processor or, where its own terms say so, as the merchant of record. We do not hold card data: the service never sees or stores full card numbers.
- Credits are not money. They cannot be paid out, exchanged for money, moved to another account or sold (Terms, section 3). There is no way to move value between users.
- The payment provider carries out the identity, anti-money laundering and fraud checks that apply to payments. We report suspicious activity, such as stolen cards, abuse of the payment flow or repeated disputed payments, to the provider and block the account involved.
- Refunds are given as set out in the Terms (section 5, withdrawal from the contract, and the rules on complaints). Please write to us first at the contact address if there is a problem with a charge; we answer billing questions within 2 business days.
- If a payment is disputed with a bank or card scheme (a chargeback), we give the payment provider the purchase records it asks for. A user who disputes a payment while the service was delivered can have access to the account restricted.
